Simplest way to fix VB display without soldering?

I'm not looking for longevity or functionality. I just want to see my Virtual Boy in 3D for a short while. And no, I don't want to use the oven method. Just something quick and simple I can do with no soldering.

Travel back to 1996 and buy one brand new. There is no current method of fixing the displays without soldering. Baking comes closest but is iffy. There is a 3D printed bracket that you can install to apply pressure to the pads, but it's not a guaranteed fix.

A week ago I bought a virtual boy.
The right lense was just black and the right one would only work ever 10 seconds for 5 seconds.
I first followed one youtube video and used a heating iron

The right lense worked flawlessly after that, the left one was still not working at all.

I them followed this video and tried soldering

I am an armature when it comes to soldering but I pulled it off and now have a fully funktioning virtual boy.
I am usually very good with tiny things that need a lot of patience. But I wanna encourage you to try it yourself. It felt really good when I realized I fixed it.

Other than that, there seem to be a few people on this board that have a lot of experience with fixing the virtual boy and the money they ask for seems very reasonable.

Donít give up!
