Yep, and worse yet, I know of at least collector who didn’t do his homework and got duped into buying “Virtual Bowling” :/

If they were duped, they may have a recourse through ebay.

Yes, that “lo$tandfound” seller has a lot of VB-items. But every single item is unnaturally expensive and I can’t imagine that he sells a lot of his items. On the other hand, he has the right to charge for this items as much as he wants, as long as he finds somebody who buys it...

I also wached the uncle tusk items and went crazy when I saw the result! I think this is also due to a lag in the describtion: there was no word that these are homebrew games. I think “usual” VB collectors think that these are ultra rare originals...

It's a little odd, actually. People who are new to VB collecting wouldn't likely jump on such an expensive item, while seasoned collectors SHOULD know that there's no such thing as a commercial release of Blox/Insecticide etc. It's a small bracket of people that would fall for it, and it has to intersect with people who are rich. But sure, the seller is allowed to charge whatever.

Virtual Lab has a little more potential to fool people.

Forgive my ignorance, but what's stopping Uncle Tusk from simply producing more repros at a reasonable price? I expect that would undermine that scalper.
