I was very amazed when I found out today that there was an official Virtual Boy board on Nintendo.com. Very crowded even, with around 800 posts :D The VB also is back on the Systems page, looks like it was added when the new site design was launched (or not not added if you want to put it that way ;). Very good to see that Nintendo notices the fan base of the Virtual Boy.

Yeah! It's so cool seeing this. For once the big N didn't pass the chance to made the console know to everyone. For a while, even Nintendo Power didn't even want to mention it. Which is sad.

I know exactly what your talking about. I was playing Super Smash Bros Mele and when you go to look at the trophies you've discovered there in the background is all of the Nintendo Systems. In the American version of SSBM the Virtualboy is not shown in the background but the Japanese version does have it. I mailed Nintendo about it asking if they were ashamed of the system, of course they didnt have much of an answer but to say they are not ashamed of the Virtualboy.

Rightfully they shouldnt.
