I scanned the end of one of my carts on a flatbed at 9600 DPI (interpolated, I'm sure) and came up with a hole size of approximately 0.4339 mm (~0.01708"). The pin is probably a mite smaller than that, but that should get you in the ballpark (the only other way I know to find out is to open a VB and destroy its connector to put a pin in some calipers or a micrometer).

EDIT: Also, the approximate pin spacings are:

2.0267 mm (0.07979") column pitch
1.6298 mm (0.06417") row pitch

EDIT: The wire gauges closest to 0.35mm are 27 AWG and 29 SWG (British).

It should be about 0,4mm then I guess.

I think DogP has a loose one to measure on, so I hope he'll be able to check.

Just want to figure out if the socket I bought will make a good connection without having to adjust the connectors, do a lot of soldering replacing an original connector and test or disassemble my own unit and measure it when connected.

I just checked a connector (male) w/ the calipers... it's about 0.014", or 0.35mm.
