My husband and I were taking turns playing the Virtual Boy (Wario) and we eventually got the idea for a co-op way of playing. One person looks through the goggles and dictates the controls while the other tries to control without seeing. It turned out to be loads of fun. If you have someone willing to try it with you, I'd recommend giving it a try.

Unfortunately, my wife can get frustrated easily, especially with games, so I think that this would just piss her off lol. Its a fun idea though!

That actually does sound fun, especially for a Wario game or maybe Panic Bomber...wouldn't recommend Red Alarm though hah.

I was wondering one time if you could play a game (maybe not on VB) where both people can see the display- one holds the right side of the controller to jump and hit the 'fire' button and the other controls the D-pad.

There actually is a game like that for the NES. It's Gyromite (when played without ROB). The concept is really fun but the game hasn't aged well. I don't see why it wouldn't be possible on an emulator on the PC where it would be easy to do with a keyboard.

This reminds of what I used to do on my N64 Goldeneye with my friend. We would switch the controls to use 2 N64 controllers, one controls movement and items, other controls aim and shoot (Ment for 1 controller in each hand) but we each took 1 controller and made the single player a co-op game, Added a fun challenge to the game. I really recommend giving this a try to anyone who hasn't.
