No time, no storage space, no money. Or in other words, the right time to get rid of the remains of my VB collection. ;-)

I just created an inventory listing of everything I got. I am pretty sure that I won't get around to putting up a nicely formatted listing with photos, so I just attached the spreadsheet for now.

Some images of my stuff can be found here and here, send me a PM if you guys are interested in anything. :-)

I want the Pre-Prod. Prototype, and the VUE Debugger. How much each?

what?! you still the Virtual Boy though, right?

I sure hope this isn't loosly linked to loss of interest in the VB

sorry for the double post, but the time ran out for me to edit my last post when I wanted to add more to my post:

anyways, since you are selling your VB collection, why not put it on ebay (all of it or some of it) so people who don't know about this site could find it? (which, if it were an auction, maybe it would go above what you'd think it would sell and you'd get more profit (since you mention you need money) that way?)

just a suggestion

The problem with eBay is that the extremely rare items like the debugger just might end up in a closet somewhere and that would be the end of it. Do you think there are any museums that might want the really rare stuff? I know the CHM has some video game stuff, but the VB probably isn't iconic enough for them to want and super cool ultra rare one-of-a-kind VB prototypes...

I'd love that giant prototype, but
a) No money
b) No space
c) No reason to have it

Hope your stuff finds a good home KR155E!

Don't worry, I will keep one Virtual Boy plus my FlashBoys and I will definitely continue running this site as long as I can. Not loosing interest, just can't afford dozens of big boxes sitting in my closet, collecting dust. Some might call my tiny current apartment a mousehole. ;-)

I would first like to give people on PVB the chance to pick stuff from it for their collections, and it would be great if the rare stuff would remain inside the community. Eventually, I will probably put the remaining stuff on ebay.

@colesonwilson: It's very hard to give values for both items, so the price is "highest offer". ;-) This applies especially to the VUE-Debugger, which is a rare version 1 prototype unit. It has a PS/2 controller port as on the Shoshinkai units and no link port. It's the only prototype debugger I have ever seen. The less rare Video Boy that was on ebay last year I think had a five figure price tag, so this could give a vague idea of the Debugger's value.

@Fwirt: I also think that the VB is of not enough interest to them. Although a museum would be a good place for at least the debugger.

I might not get around to that too soon. You can also send me a list of the stuff you want and I'll make you a cheaper price for the whole package. :)
