Another great title often over-looked is Ninja Gaiden Shadow. Although despite the name it isn't quite a Ninja Gaiden game, it appears to have been renamed that for the NTSC region from Shadow Warriors.

Actually Ninja Gaiden Shadow is the original (western) name and it was renamed Shadow Warriors for the European release. The NG arcade game, most of its ports and the NES title were also originally renamed Shadow Warriors.

You're correct to say it isn't quite a Ninja Gaiden game however, as it was originally going to be a Game Boy Shadow of the Ninja title. Play Shadow of the Ninja (NES, re-released in recent years on Wii/Wii U/3DS) and you'll notice the similarities.

Apparently you can get more than five players on Faceball if you use the GBA link cables.
There's a thread here:

but the images no longer show up.

These look so cool; I hope I've made it into the finalfornow batch. It's amazing to think the red and black wonder finally has a link cable. I imagine two-player Mario's Tennis and Hyper Fighting are great fun and it'll be interesting to see what future projects will do.

Amazing work. Mario's Tennis was always a good game for showing off what the VB could do, so adding (re-enabling) multiplayer makes it even better.

I'm not sure what the going rate is these days, but (having just looked it up) I see I paid €100 for mine (inc. shipping).

Hey excellent stuff. I've seen/enjoyed some of your videos before but never realised you'd covered the VB.

If you pick up a flashboy in the future, make sure you give Bound High! a go.

The system won't show anything onscreen without a game inserted. Can you hear a faint humming though?

I got mine new from Telegames back in the 90's. These days your best bet is probably eBay as no website seems to have them.
