I agree, I should have looked up their current prices first, it was interesting to find out regardless. :)

This is very exciting news, and being done for the right reasons too. While I've been holding off playing Snatcher on my Sega CD until I finally get around to finishing Rise of the Dragon, I have seen enough to be glad you are going more like Sega CD than the Saturn version. I can't wait to check this out and hunt down some replicants, err snatchers. ;)

I realize this is sort of unrelated, however I often see people wanting the 3D glasses for the Master System and it doesn't seem like people are aware that there are other ways to view it in 3D. Since it is using field sequential 3D you can just use the video synchronization box that comes with this set.

http://www.amazon.com/Ultimate-Collec ... r-Dimension/dp/B00005QW5S

It will work the same on a CRT as watching field sequential DVDs or VHS tapes. The 3D Famicom games (not NES) should work as well, however I haven't tried it my self. Frankly, emulating them on a Dreamcast does work too as long as you are using composite video, again I am pretty sure you could emulate the 3D Famicom games this way too, as for other systems I am unsure.

In the end though, I am pretty sure this is known and making a Sega Master System 3D glasses circuit would likely be for fun or ease of use. I just thought I would point this out in-case someone wasn't aware. Also, if the video synchronization box cannot be obtained on it's own I would highly recommend the IMAX set in the link over the low budget "horror" set that is out there.

Although it took me a while to make time to really check mine out, I must say I am very happy with mine! In about a week I'll be done with my programming classes and finally get to check out all of the demos I've been reading so much about. Even more exciting times with my VB lie ahead.

I did finally get to try out recording video on my W3. I can say that it does work, although it is very time consuming to get it set up. While it isn't the best video, the main positive point is that you can see what you are recording in 3D, making it easier to play and capture at the same time (versus a 2D camera.) It doesn't look like they are dropping at all in price though, so ultimately I'm guessing your method is the better option.

I can also say that I am very happy with my recent fix! RunnerPack is a great guy and my VB is now working again. I am the second owner of my unit, with the previous owner being one that I know took care of it, and although I have treated it kindly and it has been in the box when not in use, my unit failed as well. If you haven't turned yours on in a while, give it a try. Likely it has or will go faulty so you should get the proper fix done while you can.

Yea, that is the part I am unsure about. Once I get my display fixed I will do some test's and report back. I don't have interest in doing video myself, but I figured it might be an interesting idea for others. :)

I'd actually say both! :) I was about to try recording some footage to see if it worked and both of my screens have just died in front of me. The thing about that camera is that the lenses are about the same distance as our eyes and the screen is like that of the 3DS, so you may be able to play and record all in 3D. My thoughts are that it may work with the Vectex as well with some rigging, although I don't have one of those yet to try out.

I watched this video some time ago, however I just signed up and am getting the chance to tell you I really enjoyed it! I haven't watched many of your German video's yet, as it's been a while since I took German 2, however I find all of them to be very entertaining and funny as well. Since you are into 3D in general you might look into getting a Fujifilm Finepix Real 3D W3. While I haven't tested it with mine, you may be able to record the Virtual Boy in 3D with it. I don't think it is as nice as the camera you are using, however it does have a 75mm Baseline Length.

After years of lurking I decided to finally sign up, I would definitely be interested in purchasing both cables in black. I assume they are still in progress.
