That's basically a one-of-a-kind collectible, enjoy it!

I hope it works out 👍

I'm off for the next few days so as I pull stuff out to work on or sell, I'll try to upload some obscure pics...

Never heard of that one, looks pretty neat. What's wrong with the controller on it anyway? (I'm watching at work and had to keep the volume low, maybe you mentioned it heh...).

I like those handheld full console systems, my Nomad is just begging for some kind of mod.

I would be interested as well! I finally finished installing the guts of a wireless Retro Bit SNES controller into a VB pad, so it would be cool to use your adapter for the receiver. Sometimes the short VB controller cable adds to my playing discomfort so I'd like to be able to move my hands around more freely.

That's pretty cool! I cringe whenever I have to open one of my rare or repro boxed games.

Also cool about Mario's Tennis 2 player mode, last time I checked that was deemed impossible. I'll have to get busy building a link cable again 👍

As a member of a Virtual Boy community there's probably a chance that you might like other obscure gaming items as well. I thought it'd be fun if we shared our cool stuff that is obscure, but isn't VB related :)

Pretty cool video! I've never been lucky enough to be on the cutting edge of some prototype discovery but there's always hope for the future :p

I'll poke around my collection and see what weird stuff I have. Probably just "rare" items but nothing too unheard of.

VB solder repairs

Also, I figured a separate post was better to mention that I'm slowly easing back into VB solder repairs. Sorry to anybody who's written me about this and been stonewalled with silence in return! I was doing so many repairs at one time that I never felt like making my other crazy tech projects become reality, and had a tendency to forget to reply to people. My plan is to have a soft limit on how many orders I'll take at once just so it doesn't become too overwhelming. Now that I also have a real computer again, it should be easier to coordinate with customers once the orders come in :)

So, I'd recommend emailing me directly if you need this service (and nobody else has started doing it haha...)

Can't remember the last time I actually logged in here. What's new? Looks like there are some updates on prototypes which are pretty cool. More scans of old Nintendo paperwork and press materials, always surprising when those turn up. What would you say are the top 5 developments from the last year or so I might have missed?

I've been busy working on other projects and getting back into long gaming sessions which has left less time for bouncing around the forums to see what's new in VB land.

Hi all- just a quick reminder to anyone I have been talking with about repairs lately, I am in the process of a major cross country move which will officially start next week. I will hit the road around Tuesday 2/7!

So with that in mind, please do not ship me any VB things for repair until further notice. Chances are I'll be able to set up a temporary shop by mid/late-month, but I don't want to overextend myself or lose something in transit...so feel free to email me still about repairs, but just know it will be a few weeks before I can get back into it 😊

I'll email the two of you whose system or displays I have now, they will be finished by this weekend!

My phone is having trouble with those links but what I saw so far looks great! I'd be interested in some should they become available for purchase.

You may have seen me at that Portland expo, such random dumb luck that I was in town that weekend. Luckily a retro game shop had some advertisements for it and I happened to see them the night before the main selling day at the expo 😄. Did you get the Gundam from that guy who was in the very back corner? I bought some of his NES repros...
