The original Bound High cart you made for us several years ago were cart only. I have one of those, but I made a custom label, instruction booklet, box, etc. for it. AFAIK, I remember I sent my PhotoShop designs to someone here in the VB community who used them for good and finally evolved into the "retail Bound High" which you made and sold.

On a side note, is there anyone here who still remembers the "retail Blox" I made with help from people from here? I attach you the image for you to enjoy. It was my first "commercial box and instruction booklet" made :-P

Funny, several years ago we were all moaning about not having the Bound High ROM available. In the end it became available. Nothing happened, Nintendo didn't sue anyone nor do anything even though everyone knew where it had come from. Now I log on and see another "please make XX ROM available", where XX has transformed from Bound High to Hyper Fighting. He he he. Anyway, nice to see everything's as it always was. Enjoy! ;-)

A couple questions for you:

Is the instruction booklet for Blox a complete instruction booklet with all necessary instructions for the game?

If you still have the original computer files that you created for the box art and instruction booklet for Blox, would you be willing to send those files to UncleTusker, so that they could be used for a future limited production run of Blox?

Thanks.

I have all the art. I don't mind sharing it as I did with the Bound High instruction booklet and box. I've sent a message to UncleTusker so that he gives me a mail address to send them to.

Thanks to everyone for all the suggestions regarding my collection. The problem is that I don't want to split it and -to be honest- I'm not in a hurry to sell either. When/If I get in a hurry, I'll post a list with individual prices, don't worry :-)

Hi all,

A few words to let everyone know my ENTIRE Virtual Boy collection is for sale (check my profile images and notes to see what I have). The price for EVERYTHING is 5,000€ + S&H apart (insured, obviously - final price). It won't be split, so don't bother asking if I'd sell X or Y individually. If you're interested, contact me through e-mail virtualboyfreakATgmail.com You can even come to where I have it to pick it up.

I'm not in a rush to sell, I just thought that I'd set a price point in case anyone is interested. I guess many, if not all, will think it's very expensive. It's not only the price of the games/items themselves, but the time it took me to gather everything, which has also got a price.

For those of you asking yourselves why have I decided to sell my entire collection, it's easy. Life changes, and so do preferences and needs. My main worries at the moment haven't got to do with videogames anymore, but with my child's education and his future. So there you go, if you're interested, get in touch.

I apologize, I thought this was a cool find and I was playing coy. It is what it is, unfortunately the VB scene has died and shifted away to 3DS. I have no questions to ask, I know what I have and buy. The other good ol' boys are KR155E, runnerpack, and mawa. They have the authority.

I still enjoy brand new VB discoveries, as anyone here should.(?)
I'm just somebody that I used to know.

It's a cool find. I think the VB scene hasn't quite died, but it's quieter than it used to be. I still have my VB collection, along with the Blox cart, the two Bound High carts, etc., but it's in a cupboard and I use my 3DS to play in 3D, because it's much easier to grab & play than having to assemble the VB (and I think the red/black contrast gives better 3D effect than the 3DS multi-colour screen, but as I said, playing 3DS is easier than VB).

Don't suffer about it. I still love my VB collection and I'm sure many people here do too even though they don't say much lately, but times change and so do priorities. Also, economy is quite bad and many people are selling their VB collections (and many other collections) to other private collectors to get extra money to make a living and cover all the debts which they have. That might also be a reason for the silence of the VB scene. Anyway, enjoy what there is, which is quite nice ;-)

What I was thinking of doing, since I run a print shop, is making the boxes and manuals and then offering the pair up on here for anyone willing to pay the shipping cost.

Just wondering, did the plans go through for this, or is it on hiatus?
I would love to have a box/manual to go with my Bound High cart.

Here's the box : http://www.planetvb.com/modules/newbb ... t_id=15219#forumpost15219

... but there are simply not enough hours in the day for me to finish the manual. :(

I left the JPEG's of the manual I made in the "Bound High carts" thread, just in case you want it ;-)

Here's the instruction manual. A1 & A2 on the same piece of paper, one side each. B1 & B2 the same, and C1 & C2 the same. Then cut & staple, quite simple.

This was done when I had enough time in the day. Now I don't have any time to spare on these things, so just enjoy what you see... or make a better one yourself and share it ;-)

That was my PLCC PCB: http://www.projectvb.com/tech/carts/plccpcb.html .

Yeap, they are DogP's and MineStorm's PCB's. As I said, jobs of VB artists :-)

None of this is news.

Well, this picture is no news either, but now you have more to talk about than an hour ago :-P It's just two versions of the same thing, made by two artists of the Virtual Boy ;-)
