I know. Destroying a Virtual Boy is a bad idea for many reasons. But it's what keeps the money going for King, and it's not any of your Virtual Boys, and it's only one. (Yes, it's two, if you count the water-damaged one, but you get the point.) I don't see why you're making this such a problem.

I got my VB from eBay, so I don't know if it was a retail unit. It came in a retail box, so I strongly believe it's a retail unit.

I can't take a photo atm, but I see a mild glow on the entire screen and on the outer border. Again, I'm sorry if it's still confusing.
