Speaking of battery packs, I wonder if someone can create a lithium-ion battery pack with substantially increased battery life over the 6xAA version and also has a jack for the AC adapter for charging. Best of both worlds!

(Of course, it'll probably never happen, given how everyone outside of this forum seems to hate it with a passion.)

DogP created a rechargeable battery pack on http://projectvb.vze.com/, but there is no jack to recharge it. Great idea though, I would definately make/buy one.

I saw Virtual Fishing, and the price at $10, and I basically stared at it for a while .

But the box was a little beat, and I don't really have the money, so I thought I'd tell you guys. Sorry FeistyGirl

Here we have a Virtual Fishing for $10, but the box is beat. Still a great price though.

This guy has a few good games and prices, perhaps he would combine shipping. If I had the money I would definatley get most of them

Back to that Planet GC guy-what records do you have of his trip that may exist on the Internet somewhere? I doubt it'll have any info pertinent to my investigation due to the lack of prototypes, but I could read just about anything at this point.

Here, read this (its just a summary of what the Planet GC guys did)

(As for discussion, I keep imagining what it would be like if I could make Dorin a playable character in a Super Smash Bros. game. Other characters like Chalvo could appear as Assist Trophies.)

I don't think they would do that, because only about 4 people in the world know Dorin.

Heres a very nice condition Jap VB in box with a couple games 320242211575. I would bid on it, but the shipping is a killer at $61. Everything seems to be in good order and wrapped up. Maybe if the shipping was a bit cheaper, but oh well.

I interested in seeing DH also, but I guarantee no one will dump that game for cheap, if at all. I guess NoA would be a nice bet, but someone from planet GC went there, and the only VB stuff there was a demo machine, and VB in a case. Good luck though, I hope you find something

I've got my eye on this auction, mostly because of that carrying case.

My only worry is that the AC adapter has no cord, making it pointless to use.

There's also several other VB auctions with the box and everything, as well as more games, but no carrying case. I might go for one of those, but I'm not really sure if I should even go for any of them at this point because of my lack of funds right now.

However, some of you are mentioning much cheaper ways to get a VB. I take it you were looking through flea markets or something?

Yeah, I would be the first bidder on that auction, so please don't raise my bid too much . The AC tap will work as long as you have a SNES power cable, they are they same thing.

Speaking of cheap VB, I got my first VB thru a flea market for $10, so there are definately cheaper ways to get them. There was no box or game or anything, but if you're looking for a VB system only, flea markets are probably your best bet. And they are usually a lot cheaper. I got Super Smash Bros for the N64 for $5, and they usually go for like $20 on ebay.

That's why I don't like using Ebay. There are other means to get into this hobby that are way cheaper.

BTW I just purchased a US system in box and all manuals, also included the hard carrying case, and the following games for $100:

Vertical Force
Water World
Red Alarm
Teleroboxer
Wario Land
Nester's Funky Bowling
Galactic Pinball

Too bad the games are loose, but oh well. This will be the first time playing a VB and can't wait for it to come in the mail.

$69 is a decent price for what I got. I got the boxed AC Tap with it, which is pretty uncommon. You got loose games with a box for a great price also. Have fun playing Water World .

My Virtual Boy has the issue, but I just left it because it comes and goes randomly. I know it's weird, but It's OK most of the time, so i'm good.

Yeah, some games do that. I was playing Space Squash, and during the non-gameplay screen, it was have minor lines. But the next time I played, there weren't any lines.
