um... While you're at it, can you try to see if there are any "Mother3(64)" a.k.a. "Earthbound 64" dev disks just laying around somewhere? Or if the demo cartridge/disc is in storage somewhere?.. And if it is, can you get one and send it to me?

clean the cartride, as it seems that's the problem. (go to radioshack and buy an electronics cleaner, it's a can that blows air.)

My only worry is that the AC adapter has no cord, making it pointless to use.

you can use a SNES power cord, and plug it into the AC-tap I think.

Super Paper Mario - Francis the Nerd has one sitting on his shelf in what is my opinion, the best level of the game... massive fanboy service.

Super Smash Bros Brawl - Games and release dates listed right in the Chronicles area of the game.

Warioware - Hidden in sand in one for the games

I think it was a sore spot to them for a few years, but in the end I think Nintendo knows they had a great product, and they have paid respect to it the past few years...

You forgot another WarioWare one.
In WarioWare INC. Mega Microgame$ the 9-volt stage had a VirtualBoy in plain view. Also, one of the Microgames was Mario Clash.
In many of nintendos games they slip the virtualboy in.

It's at $104.50 now! I have never seen ANY VB game fetch a price that high on eBay before.

And if one has, I missed it somehow.

I've seen Wario Land for the VB go up to $500.
thats alot, considering the lable was half gone, and there was no box or instruction manual. (lots-o-bids)

True but at the very least it would be done right and give it another five to ten years of life "hopefully lol"

It won't. When people first bought the VirtualBoy most brand new systems had the stupid anooying problems the used ones have, so it will have the same amount of life. I cant believe the VirtualBoy is technically an unfinished prototype product.

This reminds me I have to give my VB its weekly check to make sure the LEDs are still working.

I just hope some good homebrew comes out for the VB soon.

While I was repairing my VB I did have similar problems to what you describe. I think it's most definitely your ribbon cables. Flickering, Dimming, Horizontal lines, One or both screens are dead etc... I wish Nintendo themselves still repaired theses systems.

I dont think you want nintendo to fix it.. They overprice their repair service.
