Oh and I finally got to play the game more. Lots of variety, nice and simple controls, and great graphics. I've only beaten World 1 in Adventure mode, so I still have lots more to play!

Man, if Bound High! is this good, then imagine what G-Zero and Dragon Hopper are like...

Just got this today. Box was so nice, it went right on my bedroom shelf!

As for the game, I got to play it for 5 seconds. Seems alright. 3D is fine, but I'll have to play it more later. ;)

Are those the codes where you have to write down what a random picture says, or make you say to check that you are a human? I hate those. Some forums merely have you do those tests, others you just sign up, and on the Pcenginefx forums, you have to answer some questions and wait two weeks. :(

You might as well just create another new account and see how that goes.

EDIT: KR155E is a member of Lost Levels, I believe. He can help you.

You didn't need to sell your stuff...

Anybody on it from this site?

If you'll recall, this was back when the three rarest games were on the verge of having their ROMs released.

I assume the third game is Space Pinball?

The fact that ROMs of these games existed, as well as a ROM for Bound High (which is now released), but that they were being kept by a Virtual Boy "Elite" upset me.

I thought they were found or kept by different people. Huh?

The Virtual Boy community is so small already, so it made little sense to me to deprive others of a new experience. I thought that the community should be close-knit, not segmented.

I completely agree with you.

Now, though, the three rarest ROMs are available. Bound High is available. Soon, Faceball will be available. This community has come so much farther from where it was a few years ago.

And I'm sure we'll find the other two games eventually. ;)

Perhaps I'll have to get myself another Virtual Boy.

No, you WILL get another Virtual Boy. Enjoying a system or not has nothing to do with an online forum. Thanks for supporting the Virtual Boy community though. :)

You should probably ask Minestorm. He has removed connectors from hundreds of carts.

Sorry if I sound a little pissy. You're right, Eric has done a lot. I just don't get why Bound High! had a normal cart release, if everything was going fine then. Now, this game is having worries over. I'm just anxious, I guess.

Interesting discovery.

I would like to see some more info on Zero Racers, if that is possible.

I just don't get all this fuss. There are several examples of unreleased and released games being made into home-brews for profit, and Nintendo, Konami and sega don't care. Boung High! was made, and yet nothing happened. Why is this a big deal? Eric won't be able to make any profit.

You want an example of a pirated game? Super Mario Bros. 2: Lost Levels reproduction carts. Back in the day, the game was pirated from disks to carts. Now, it's the rom to cart. Mario 2 is STILL A COMMERCIABLY AVAILABLE GAME. It is on the Wii Virtual Console. This reproduction cart is sold for profit. Nintendo has never interfered, even though it is a well known game.

Seriously, I can think of several more examples of "pirated" games that ginormous companies don't care about.

If Dragon Hopper and G-Zero are found, will they just be a rom? No glorious cart release?

Oh well, it is for Eric to decide, but this is a long lost Virtual Boy game. It needs respect and glory...

I agree. It does need respect and glory. It's ultimately up to Eric what he chooses to do and what he's done for the VB community is amazing. Highest priority is to keep him safe from any type of legal action. I wonder if there is a way to purchase cib games through messages and out of the public eye. This way he does get some money for all that he's doing in addition to allowing everyone to get a cart to play.

Actually, that may be a good idea. Bigmak forwards a PM to every member on the site. Unfortunately, this release has had news coverage. But if Bound High! had a normal release, and Super Mario 2 Reproduction carts are 100% legal, then I extremely doubt that Faceball would be interfered by anybody at all.
