It came out pretty nice. Fits nice and snug too.
Its carbon fiber FDM so very strong.

Model also attached.

Here's the d-sub male pins used:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00E ... age_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I trim the crimp end a bit on the d-sub pins. Be careful after trimming them as they can be razor sharp and cut you. They insert very tightly into the 3D printed connector as designed. Then bond the back with an epoxy to help them stay in place.

Yes solder cup. Iíll post a part number after itís tested. First prints are on their way.

The Onyx prints I do are FDM just like for the link cable parts.

Here is another question about this setup: could 2 player games be supported? I have only played Hyper Fighting 2player so I donít have many data points. . It seems like if both players see the same screen for the game it might be more easily doable, but if each player has a different view split screen would be required which I would imagine is more difficult to emulate?. Just spitballing thoughts since I donít know the technical details of all of this.

Donít know of any emulator that implements linkport functionality. I have notes somewhere of someone building a new emulator and specifically adding linkport support but havenít heard any updates in about a year.

This will allow SNES to VB adapters to be made fairly easily as well.

Insecticide was my first Virtual Boy game. Since the creation of much of the code that is in the game that is about 10 years old, I have learned a whole bunch of stuff since then that I want to create now a good game in Chris's Casino. While it is true that it took 10 years of hard work to make Insecticide, it was just basically a game whose sole purpose was to get my feet wet into Virtual Boy programming. But since it took 10 years, I wanted to have it released. I guess this was something I shouldn't have wanted. I guess I should have asked for one boxed copy just for myself to have. Oh well. Lesson learned. I will still be working on Chris's Casino.

Iím impressed you finished it. Keep going. Canít wait to see your Casino game CIB and any future games!

VB controller pins are d-sub pins. Yes Iím going to post all the design files. Not really interested in building 100 extension cables myself. Yes I could sell 3D printed parts if people want them. Theyíll be cheaper if bulk buys are made. Iíd probably do it once right at the beginning and then after that people can get them themselves.

The use of these will become more relevant later...

VB controller extension cable housings. REV1. Likely to be a few updates after the first prints come in.

And now the connector model. Once I've tested it and built some, I'll post the model. Then the entire VB controller USB adapter can be built from new parts.

This page now has the hex file at the end of the page to program the DFRobot Beetle Arduino board. The 3D print design files, programming hex file, and the description on the page should be enough for anyone to build their own. You'll need a donor connector for now.

Must say that the quality on it is great and it's super easy to use! Well done Kevin! :)

Thanks! Glad you like it.

I also updated this page with the regular enclosure design files that can be 3D printed. Also included the hex file at the end to program the atmega2560. So if people follow this page carefully, they can build their own. Have fun!
