I would realy like to see a Alleywey or Arkanoid Clone on the Virtual Boy with nice deep 3d Backround :)
Yes also a Jump and Run Adventure would be realy nice but i think thats to much work, also i think the VB is a great Console for games you dont have to play several hours in a row. Like Formula V seems to be a racer that makes fun for many hours but also you can play it only for 15mins only to makw a few races and have a little fun.
The genere for me is not that important but games that you can play only short time and makes fun and also makes fun to play it 1 or 2 hours in a row. Thats what i think is best for the VB :) anyway wich genere.
I think with Formula V (i only know the Demo) you show us that you can do this :) because Formula V semms to be a game that makes also great fun when you play it only short time as also when you play it 1 or 2 horus in a row :)

Games like that would be great. If it should not be a big projekt like Formula V next time then also only a game (who i think makes not that big Work) like an uprated Alleywey could be a nice to have :)

That is really cool, but it reminds me of a facehugger for some reason.

Yes, but the main point of that thread is the pinout of the module, and the way the "power-good" signal works. With that info, you should be able to pick any DC-DC converter or other 5V source, and hook it up in place of the 7805. Do a search for "5v LDO" on your favorite electronics website. "LDO" means "low drop-out". They're more efficient.

Thank you for your help. Unfortunately, I had read through that before and only see mention of a 7805 for stepping down current. I was hoping that because of the heat problems associated with the 7805 someone had come up with a better way. I think I have pretty much exhausted the forum topics on this part at this point as I have tried every search word combo I can think of. I see mention of people replacing them, but they usually have a donor board or use a 7805.

The Death Generator, to quote its creator @Foone, "creates GAME OVER/YOU DIED screens as seen in Sierra Online's SCI engine, as well as lots of other fake videogame screenshots from many, many games"... and now also supports Jack Bros.

Thanks again, Richard !

It's the cart alone, no box, no manual. It even doesn't have a sticker :p

So far I presented it in many events with a grand total over 20k visitors. I made a bartop enclosure for my VB so children can play with no risk for the VB to fall off the table (visitors already broke one of our VBs this way).

There's also a little sign explaining the game's story, how it was funded by one guy, and created by another one guy.

Some people traveled hundreds of kilometers just to try it.
