So, I'm considering buying a Flashboy Plus from Richard Hutchinson (Minestorm).

If you happen to read this, Mr. Hutchinson, I really don't mean any personal offense, it's just that this would be my first time buying something online that wasn't through a major store.

My question to all of you of PVB...Is he a reputable seller? Can I trust him with the $100 it'd require for the Flashboy?

He doesn't seem like a bad guy, I just wanna make sure.

Thanks to all, and I hope Minestorm will not take offense to this.

I have to appreciate the irony that you are asking people you don't know for advice on someone else you don't know ;)

But anyway, he is reputable. I have not bought a FlashBoy, but I have done transactions with him and everything went fine (the transaction I am talking about is I sent him some VB cartridges in exchange for a "Bound High" reproduction - well can it be a repro if it was never made?)

You know, I considered that myself.
But I figured if someone did have something negative to say about him, they'd say something to try and prevent someone else from going through whatever they did.
So, thank you for your contribution.

I have bought a Flashboy+ from Richard and also several other items. I can personally say that I would trust Richard over many Ebay sellers. If Richard tells you that he will send you the item, he will ship it to you promptly, after he has already tested the item to make sure that it works properly. After that, it's in the mail system's hands. :-)

As would I - Richard is top tier and entirely trustworthy.
He's also mroe than fair, he's generous and won't overcharge on shipping, or even ask for shipping in some cases.

I always feel weird about sending a large amount of money to a total stranger in another part of the world. I took the plunge and ordered a FB+ directly from Richard close to a year ago. I paid him using my Paypal account.

Richard kept me informed every step of the way. When the kit was ready he also let me know that it had been sent out.

I also ordered a Flash Boy box from Chris, the admin of this very site.

Both of them are 100% trustworthy, extremely friendly, and are great to do business with.

Don't worry about any of it, just order from Richard and then enjoy your FB+
