Hi guys!

I recently bought a MIB (well, the box itself is not so mint...) VB, with some games, after wanting one for about 10 years.
The prices on Ebay in Europe are completely ludicrous, so I had to wait for a long time.
I'm truly impressed with the system and I'm planning on buying at least all US releases (got 3, 7 others are being shipped to me).

So hi! I'm happy I found Planet VB. Next objective is obtaining a flash cart (those $1000 Japanese releases are out of the question), however, my VB is starting to develop the horizontal lines glitch, so I'll have to tend to that first.
The elongated gamebit has been ordered and I think I'm not going to bother with the oven method and just find someone who can offer me a permanent fix.

One final thing: I'm amazed no one has attempted to make homebrew games in the style of Space Harrier. It seems like a perfect fit for the VB!

Howdy Qen, got yourself one cool system and found the top VB site, welcome.
Its a fine console, I hope you can sort your glitchy displays and a flashboy is a must if you want to play everything on hardware.

Bought an elongated gamebit, which appears to not be long enough!

Already contacted the seller and he says 1 in a hundred buyers complain about the length -of the gamebit :-D
I've already found another, longer one, but I'm really fed up with this... :-(

So bad that I'm actually looking at a new Japanese system. I'd buy it in a heartbeat if the shipping wasn't €70 and I'd probably get buggered by the customs for at least €100 more...

This was supposed to be a birthday present for myself, but it seems I'll need more patience.

It's a gamebit with a longer shaft. You need one to remove some of the screws in a VB.

And today it suddenly worked fine again.
This system is just perfect for sitting outside! No glare, no low brightness, just perfect.

I looked like a complete dork though... :-)

Mario Tennis is strangely addicting.

And today my second system arrived: a NIB Japanese one!
I just couldn't pass up on it.

Now I just need to fix the first system and I'll be settled for quite some time :-)

May I ask what you paid for it? If so: What did you pay for it? :P
