hey,

first of all, thx for all of the translations. I needed some distraction so I took your Space Squash translation and made an English version of the manual.

I basically redrew the complete manual using inkscape. Only the graphics from the cover and the back and the game screenshots are from are from the scans.

There's actually one translation mistake that I caught since I posted my original translations. On page six, it currently reads:

"... in order to suddenly build a mysterious cemetery there."

The word "cemetery" should actually be "base." Thus, it should say: "in order to suddenly build a mysterious base there."

The Japanese character at the beginning of the word in question wasn't converted properly by the OCR program that I was using, hence the translation error.

If you could fix that, that would be great.

Well, that's an easy fix. Tell me if you find something else. I fixed some misplaced colons myself, for example on page 3.

"Interpupillary Distance Adjustment Screen," to "Interpupillary Distance Adjustment Screen",

I also just noticed that the background is not white but transparent. It does not matter if you print it, but it looks kind of strange in Firefox.

I was thinking about doing the other manuals as well... however, it is kind of a tedious work and some of the other manuals look way more complicated.

If I figure out how to patch ROMs, I could add your translation to the actual ROM.

My brother, Greg, is actually working on updating the translation patch and even adding translations to the game in places that currently have no translations. Thus, I should be able to post a new English-patched game shortly.

However, it doesn't look like we can modify the controls screen, the character names on the VS screens, or the intro story, which was the same problem that "Feel" ran into. If you can figure that out, let us know.
