3DS has had a pretty slow launch, what some may call poor. Same as VB, no killer app and lack of software support. (I'd call Virtual Boy Wario Land a killer app, but it was a last generation title) For all you peeps, what do you think is the best overall game for 3DS?

I don't have have a dog, but I have two cats and... I'm going off topic now!
(so when do we get a Virtual Boy ownership simulator, Nintendo? (Nintendogs + cats + ...Virtual Boys?) and this is why I don't usually post on PVB tired! )

Don't know about posting "tired", drunk is usually the fashion late-night, lol. I bring home stray cats from time to time, usually pawn them off at my mother's house! Just helping her to become a crazy old cat-lady.

Figured I would edit this post out of good taste, but see that the feature is now gone(or at least gone within the hour of said post). If that's the new format, cool. Should plan my posts out better.
rayman 3d is a port of the dreamcast game, so if you played it there you have played it before. the game is fun but the graphics look dated.
steeldiver was one of the worst games i got to play at the 3ds launch party. its just a gimmick filled game that use some of the unique features of the 3ds (like the gyroscopic controls). its not fun at all.
sf iv is fun but its hard to keep the 3d sweet spot with a fighter. its also a fighting game, so playing it alone gets boring pretty quickly.
the zelda remake doesn't offer anything new (well retextured graphics that they claim were built from the ground up for the 3ds) but its a classic zelda game. if you have never experienced it then give it a play.
the new starfox is fun. i haven't put many hours into it but i've enjoyed it.
pilotwings greatly expands upon the wii mini-game but the world feels dead. there are no moving cars, people, etc. its just basically an expanded mini-game. its great in small doses but not worth the asking price. i picked it up for $5 at a online sale and sort of even regret that price.
kid icarus is getting good reviews, but i'm not sold on it yet. some are saying its the best title to be released so far. it might be worth checking out.
mariokart 7 is really fun, especially if you play online.
don't forget the e-shop titles and virtual console. there are some fun games you can grab there but do your research. some just aren't very fun with the 3ds circle pad.
metal gear solid 3d got some really bad reviews. poor graphics and difficult controls among the complaints. but i've been told the 3d effects are pretty nice, you feel like you are in the jungle.
I played a lot of Mario 3D and for me that's the 'best' 3DS game right now, just as Wario Land is for the VB.
In a tech demo sense, I'd say Red Alarm is 'best' for the VB and in that same sense for 3DS, I'd probably stick Zelda in that slot for the same reason.
Love the Kirby 3D classic too, but it's not really a 3DS game...
Glad to see the recent activity in this thread. :)
This past year I have most enjoyed Harvest Moon a Tale of Two Towns, Williams pinball hall of Fame, and Resident Evil Revelations.
The harvest moon game is a typical good harvest moon entry to the series. I enjoy that it is 2D like the SNES/GBA versions. I'm not sure if it's even out yet, but I doubt I'll pick up the newer 3D polygon version.
Pinball Hall of Fame is a cheap budget title, but if you like pinball it may be worth a shot. The 3D effect is really what makes this game worthwhile. Downsides are that it lacks tables from prior console releases and for some reason the brightness is very low. The game is only tolerable at max brightness with the AC adaptor plugged in.
RE: Revelations is the best title I've played so far. It's a complete RE game with wonderful graphics and solid gameplay. I'd rate this as better than RE 4 but worse than RE 5.
I plan on picking up Kid Icarus sooner or later. The NES title is fairly nostalgic to me.
