I do recognize that ad. It is the same ad that appears in Famitsu Magazine, Issue # 345:

On page 126:

This retail game holder looks like a neat piece of VB history, for those interested.

This ended auction is described as being for a 3D Stereoscopic Card of Mario's Tennis, made by Nagasakiya Co., Ltd.:

https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/x495981760

I now wonder if the company made other Virtual Boy-related cards.

Here is what ziggaboogi was able to provide on what the card says (Thanks, ziggaboogi!):

So I think the original text is

ナガサキヤ マリオのテニスの豆知識

サービスアンドダッシュ サーブし終わると同時に and I can't really make out the rest of the text. : /

Anyways what I could read is

"Nagasakiya (name of Japanese food and clothing company)

Mario's Tennis facts

Service and Dash

Right after finishing a serve you ..... "

I'm assuming that the card talks about the playing style of dashing right to the net right after a serve. But that's about the most I could make of it.

I did find a pic on Japanese twitter of a different card from the same series though, if that helps.
