To apply IPS patches to the respective ROMs, you'll need an IPS patching utility like IPSWin for Windows.

Once you have downloaded this utility and open the execute file, you will see the screen that appears below. Put the Virtual Boy ROM to be patched and the translation patch itself in the indicated places and click the "Patch!" button.



The ROM that you chose for use in the utility will be patched if you get the message that says the patch was successful. If you placed a check mark next to "Backup Copy" under the Options before hitting "Patch!", the original-named ROM, not the Backup Copy that was created, will have the patch applied.
